The value of imported zero-tariff goods in southern Hainan Free Trade Port topped CNY750 million (USD107 million) in the first month after China launched island-wide special customs operations in the zone, while the value of processed and value-added goods sold domestically stood at about CNY85.9 million (USD12.3 million), according to Haikou Customs.
