The team behind Are You Dead?, a Chinese app designed for people living alone, today warned users about the appearance of many counterfeit apps that are very similar to theirs. The "fake apps" charge an additional CNY8 (USD1.15) during download or use, while missing core services such as email or SMS reminders.
