The IMF yesterday raised its forecast for China's economic growth this year to 4.5% from 4.2% predicted in October, while expecting a deceleration to 4% next year, according to its latest World Economic Outlook. The IMF also improved its global GDP growth forecast to 3.3% from 3.1%.
