China Tourism Group Duty Free said yesterday it will acquire the Chines business of LVMH’s travel retailer DFS for up to USD395 million. The deal covers DFS stores in Hong Kong and Macao, as well as the DFS brands and IPs for exclusive use in China. Meanwhile, DFS will continue operating its global businesses elsewhere.
