China has suspended the import, sale, and use of Sun Pharma's Alzheimer's treatment and Supriya Lifescience's chlorpheniramine maleate API, a common ingredient in compound cold medicines, due to the Indian producers' quality control deficiencies and production compliance, the National Medical Products Administration said yesterday.
