Economic output in China's Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area likely surpassed CNY15 trillion (USD2.15 trillion) in 2025, Xinhua News Agency reported, citing the annual session of the Guangdong Provincial People’s Congress. The southern coastal province ranked first nationwide by economic size for the 37th year in a row.
