China yesterday introduced a zero-tariff policy on certain imported goods for consumption in the Hainan Free Trade Port, Xinhua reported. Each eligible resident is granted an annual duty-free shopping quota of CNY10,000 (USD1,437), with no limit on the number of purchases.
