Chinese supermarket chain Sp@ce has allied with Alibaba's Taobao Instant Commerce to expand its instant retail reach, with its 99 stores across 23 Chinese cities joining the platform. Customer numbers on the platform surged seven times in the first week, with over 80% of them aged under 40.
