JD.Com founder Richard Liu launched his own yacht brand, Sea Expandary, today with a CNY5 billion (USD727 million) investment in Guangdong’s yacht industry. Liu added he will not manage daily operations and hopes to make affordable yachts priced at around CNY100,000 (USD14,545).
