Tencent's WeChat is developing an independent proprietary AI model, set to launch this year, 36Kr reported. The model will be integrated with WeChat's mini-program to support AI agents and, in the long run, it will be deeply embed into the social media ecosystem, being able to leverage user behavior to enhance efficiency and experience.
