Meituan today apologized after reports claimed that users’ photos and videos were being deleted while using its app, saying the issue was caused by a conflict with a third-party SDK during automatic cache clearing. The problem has been fixed, with no impact on user privacy, Meituan noted, adding that will compensate affected users.
