Tencent has recently hired several former core technical staff members from ByteDance's Seed, including Xiao Xuefeng, the AI platform’s former head of visuals, who will directly report to Tencent's chief AI scientist Yao Shunyu, 36Kr reported yesterday, citing sources close to Tencent's LLM team Hunyuan.
