The China Association for Science and Technology has stopped accepting funding applications from scholars to attend the 2026 NeurIPS conference, clarifying it will not recognize papers published in this year's conference as representative works for applying for projects of the association, effective today. The NeurIPS committee recently excluded a batch of institutions listed on the US’s entity list from the submission scope this year.
