Midea's net profit grew 14% to CNY43.9 billion (USD6.4 billion) last year from the previous year, while its revenue rose 12% to CNY456.5 billion (USD66.1 billion), the Chinese home appliance giant said in an earnings report. The firm plans to buy back between CNY6.5 billion and CNY13 billion (USD940 million and USD1.9 billion) shares.
