Multiple pre-booked flights from China to Southeast Asia and Oceania for the May Day holiday have been canceled, according to screenshots shared on Chinese social media. Several airlines told Yicai that there has been a rise in voluntary cancellations this month, mainly driven by surging oil prices, higher overseas fuel costs, and demand pressure.
