Audi and SAIC Group have signed a deal to deepen their partnership, with a focus on developing Audi-branded electric vehicles and advancing joint R&D capabilities, their Chinese joint venture SAIC Audi said today. Under the agreement, they will set up an Audi Innovation Technology Center in Shanghai and co-develop Audi EV models tailored for the Chinese market, with an initial rollout of four new models planned in the coming years.
