Xiaomi appointed auto industry veteran Hu Zhengnan as VP and CTO of its carmaking business, making him the first CTO since the founding of Xiaomi Auto in 2021. Hu joined Lei Jun-backed Shunwei Capital and deeply participated in the development of the SU7 and other models as a consultant. Song Gang was also appointed VP of Xiaomi Auto.
