Chinese self-driving tech startup Pony.ai said today it has begun driverless robotaxi testing in Dubai, marking a significant step in its Middle East expansion and its partnership with the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority. Commercial service with hundreds of vehicles is slated to launch in the second half of the year.
