China's NEV production and sales rose 5.5% and 9.7% to 1.32 million and 1.34 million units, respectively, last month from a year ago, with such sales accounting for 53% of total new car sales, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers said yesterday. NEV exports jumped 1.2 times to 1.38 million units in the first four months from a year earlier.
