Douyin Group plans to pour in over CNY1.5 billion (USD219 million) to support live-action micro-drama making this year, with a 60% increase for each work on average, an executive with the Chinese social media platform said yesterday. The number of Douyin’s micro-drama genres reached 65 last year.
