Tencent has no plans for mass layoffs, National Business Daily reported, citing comments made by President Martin Lau at the Chinese tech giant’s shareholders' meeting today. Asked whether Tencent would cut large numbers of jobs, Lau said the firm differs significantly from its Silicon Valley peers in this regard.
