The number of registered users of WeRide's robotaxi business in China doubled in the first quarter from a year earlier, with average daily orders per vehicle reaching 17, the Chinese self-driving firm said yesterday. WeRide's global robotaxi fleet has expanded to 1,300 vehicles, with plans to have 200,000 robotaxis and other autonomous vehicles over the next five years.
