China aims to have at least 75% of its metropolitan areas covered by one-millisecond-latency access to computing power by 2028, according to a three-year plan released yesterday by the MIIT to accelerate the integration of AI with the information and communications sector. The plan set targets for more autonomous networks, wider low-latency computing-power coverage, and expanded AI applications.
