The world's first global technical regulations for autonomous driving systems, jointly formulated by China, the EU, the UK, the US, Canada, and Japan, have been approved and released, China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said on its website today. The United Nations Global Technical Regulation on Automated Driving Systems defines the core technical indicators for automated driving systems and specifies the corresponding review and assessment methods.
