ASEAN is now #Shanghai's biggest trading partner, surpassing the EU for the first time, according to the latest data from Shanghai customs. The city’s imports from and exports to ASEAN soared 26% in May from a year earlier to CNY70.1 billion (USD10.2 billion), driven by a 110% surge in trade with #Vietnam. By comparison, trade with the EU climbed 2.6% to CNY69.6 billion (USD10.1 billion).
