The Chinese telecommunication sector saw its revenue fall 2.1% to CNY1.02 trillion (USD152 billion) in the first seven months from a year earlier, according to the MIIT. There were 5.15 million 5G base stations and 1.3 billion 5G mobile users in China as of July 31.
