Chinese home appliance giant Midea Group has spent over CNY8 billion (USD1.1 billion) to buy back nearly 100 million mainland-listed shares as of Aug. 31, representing 1.3% of its total share capital. The repurchases were made at prices ranging from CNY73.66 to CNY87.71 (USD10.96 to USD13.05) per share.
