Vishva Dixit, VP and senior fellow of physiological chemistry and research biology at Genentech, has been awarded the 2026 WLF Prize Laureate in Life Science or Medicine. Dixit's epoch-making contributions to revealing the molecular mechanisms of cell death, such as apoptosis and necroptosis, have profoundly transformed biomedical research and disease intervention.
