The British Council apologized today and offered compensation following the sudden cancellation of International English Language Testing System exams across the Chinese mainland from Oct. 10 to 13. It said exams will fully resume tomorrow and that two additional free test sessions will be held on Oct. 19 and 20 for affected candidates. Candidates who traveled from other locations may also apply for reimbursement of reasonable travel and accommodation expenses that were incurred to attend their exams.
