China's ice and snow industry topped CNY1 trillion (USD149 billion) during the 2025-2026 ice-snow season, according to a research report Asia Data Group released yesterday at the World Winter Sports Expo in Beijing. The country saw 308 million winter sports participants and 220 million winter tourists, lifting sports consumption 9.3% to CNY205 billion (USD30.6 billion).
