Five exceptional women scientists, including Chinese structural biologist Yan Ning, were named 2024 laureate of L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science International Awards. Yan returned to China at the end of 2022 to assist the founding of the Shenzhen Medical Academy of Research and Translation.
