Tesla's Megapack plant in Shanghai's Lingang Special Area, the company’s first battery production facility outside the US, is about 45% complete, China VP Grace Tao said on Chinese social media platform Weibo. Once completed, the factory will have an annual production capacity of 40 GWh.
