China's lottery ticket sales rose 7.8% to CNY513.2 billion (USD70.6 billion) in the first ten months of the year from a year ago, according to data from the Ministry of Finance. Ticket sales to support the welfare system jumped 7.4% to CNY171.9 billion (USD23.6 billion).
