Baidu has received a license to test autonomous vehicles with its Apollo Go robotaxi service in Hong Kong, marking the first permit for such testing outside the Chinese mainland for the Chinese tech giant, Hong Kong's Transport Department said on Nov. 29. The first phase of testing will begin before the end of this year.
