Around 314 million domestic trips were made in China during the five-day Labor Day holiday, up 6.4% from a year earlier, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism said today. The total spending by domestic tourists jumped 8% to CNY180.3 billion (USD24.8 billion) in the period.
