Sinopec is among the major investors of CATL's Hong Kong listing as one of the world's largest cornerstone investors, the state-owned oil giant said. The pair partnered on May 21 to build over 500 battery swap stations this year and reach 10,000 stations in the future. They will further expand their collaborations in the areas of zero carbon, microgrid, vehicle ecology, and battery materials.
