The instant commerce service offered by Alibaba's Taobao online marketplace and its Ele.me food delivery unit has surpassed more than 40 million daily orders within a month of being launched, Taobao said today, adding that non-beverage items account for 75% of orders, and growth in non-food categories has exceeded expectations.
