Five people were confirmed dead and six remained missing as of 7.25 p.m. yesterday following an explosion at a chemical company’s workshop in Gaomi, a city in China’s eastern Shandong province, Xinhua News Agency reported, citing the local emergency management bureau. Nineteen others sustained minor injuries in the incident.
