Hong Kong’s food safety authority recently found coliform and overall bacterial counts beyond legal limits in a frozen dessert from an outlet of bubble tea chain Mixue Ice Cream & Tea. The store has since pulled and disposed of the product, and the chain has not yet issued a response.
