Polestar has secured a USD200 million equity investment from major shareholder PSD Investment, a company controlled by Li Shufu, the founder of Polestar's owner Geely Holding, the Swedish electric vehicle maker said yesterday. The transaction will hike Li's stake in Polestar to 66% through his holdings in PSD Investment, which will now hold 44% equity in the firm, and Geely's Swedish subsidiary.
