China’s Wang Xinyu finished as runner-up at the WTA 500 Berlin Open yesterday after losing 6-7(10), 6-4, 2-6 to ex-Wimbledon champion Marketa Vondrousova. The 23-year-old still delivered her career-best performance on grass.
