Bond issuance in China neared CNY7.2 trillion (USD1 trillion) in May, of which issuance of treasury bonds came in at CNY1.49 trillion, while local government bond issuance was CNY779.4 billion (USD108.8 billion), data from the PBOC showed yesterday.
