Shanghai will give out a one-time CNY500 (USD70) bonus to local residents replacing their old e-bikes with new ones in the second half of this year, according to the city's trade-in scheme. Buyers of e-bikes with lead-acid batteries will get an additional CNY100 (USD14) subsidy.
