China approved 43 innovative drugs and 45 innovative medical devices in the first half of the year, up 59% and 87%, respectively, from a year earlier, CCTV reported, citing the National Medical Products Administration. It also gave the green light to 70 pediatric drugs and 21 rare disease medications.
