Following the dissolution of the manufacturing joint venture between Nio and JAC Motors, a source close to Nio told Yicai that the move reflects the Chinese EV startup’s shift toward independent production. The source emphasized that while their manufacturing collaboration has ended, strategic cooperation between the two firms in other areas will continue.
