GAC Fiat Chrysler Automobile, the 50:50 JV set up by China’s GAC Group and Europe’s Stellantis in 2010, officially went bankrupt yesterday, with a total debt obligation of over CNY8 billion (USD1.1 billion), according to a verdict ruled by a court in Changsha, China’s Hunan province.
