AMD plans to resume exports of its #MI308 chips to China once approved, after the US Department of Commerce informed the company that the license application for the product will enter the review process, Lianhe Zaobao reported today, citing a spokesperson from the US chipmaker. The MI308 is an AI accelerator designed for the Chinese market.
