Shanghai exported nearly 1.3 million vehicles in the first half of the year, up 13% from a year earlier, ranking first among Chinese ports by volume, according to data released by local customs today. The city’s car exports surged from 379,000 in 2020 to 2.39 million last year, with an average annual growth rate of 58%.
