Last year in China, 57.8% of new graduates began their careers with a monthly salary of CNY6,000 (USD836) or less, according to an employment report released by Mycos Research. Only 9.7% earned more than CNY10,000 (USD1,393), mainly those working in emerging high-tech industries.
