Seven suspects, including Han Liu, former CEO and vice president of Ele.me, were found to have accepted and offered bribes of over CNY40 million (USD5.6 million) in less than two years, Shanghai police said yesterday. By leveraging his position at the food delivery platform under Alibaba, Han helped multiple suppliers obtain logistics and distribution qualifications in dozens of large- and medium-sized cities.
